Today through Tuesday, my short story collection There is No Wheel is available FREE as an ebook via Amazon. If you've already read my novels and are looking for some more James Maxey fiction to carry you through until the June 26 release of Hush, now's your chance! It's free on Kindle (which basically means it's free on any device with an internet connection) by clicking here.
Welcome to my worlds!
I'm James Maxey, author of fantasy and science fiction. My novels include the science fantasy Bitterwood Saga (4 books) the Dragon Apocalypse Saga (4 books), numerous superhero novels including Nobody Gets the Girl and the Lawless series, the steampunk Oz sequel Bad Wizard, and my short story collections, There is No Wheel and Jagged Gate. This website is focused exclusively on writing. At my second blog, Jawbone of an Ass, I ramble through any random topic that springs to mind, occasionally touching on religion and politics and other subjects polite people are sensible enough not to discuss in public. If you'd like to get monthly updates on new releases, as well as preview chapters and free short stories, join my newsletter!

Mister Maxey - This giveaway was almost enough to make me consider getting a Kindle. Almost.
Then I remembered I sorta hate the device, at least in comparison to the Nook (one-handed operation is rather important to me).
I've read your Bitterwood trilogy - is the short story about Atlantis about that Atlantis?
Thanks, Ian. The only reason that Wheel is a kindle select title is that it went several months on Barnes and Noble selling zero copies. All my novels sell at least a few copies on Nook each month, which is why I've not pulled any of my other titles.
But, if you email me at nobodynovelwriter at yahoo.com, I'll be glad to email you the epub version of the anthology free of charge.
And, yes, the story is set in the Bitterwood Atlantis, though it has no connection to the novels other than the setting.
