There's already a prequel to the Bitterwood trilogy available, Dawn of Dragons, which is near-future science fiction exploring the origins of the Bitterwood universe. Sometime next year, hopefully fairly early in the year, there will be a fourth and final Dragon Apocalypse book. The first draft is already complete, I just need to get my Piedmont Laureate duties behind me before I can focus on polishing it up into something publishable. After that, I've already got a mostly final draft of a superhero novel called Cut Up Girl that I'm waiting to release after I've finished drafting it's partner novel called Big Ape. These two novels both explore the same time span in the lives of two young superheroes. Their adventures overlap at points, and the two novels show some shared events from different perspectives. These will form the foundation of a larger superhero universe I hope to explore in several novels.

After that? Hard to say. I've got at least half a dozen workable ideas for novels. The tricky part will be selecting one that lets me really push through to something bigger and better than what I've done so far. This isn't to slight the books I've already written. I just feel like I've had plenty of time to hone my skills. I should by any objective measure be able to write a better book today than I could have written ten years ago. I just feel like I need a big subject to grapple with.
